Rectangular, the cover with central panel of two Turkish gentlemen smoking pipes and riding in a diamond and gem-set coach drawn by diamond-set gold horses, with gilt crescent moon on the door, in a painted enamel background against a guilloché enamel opalescent sky, all surrounded by a border of taille d'épargne blue enamel with diamond-set foliage forming Turkish crescents at the corners, the base with a painted panel of musical trophies, and the sides with panels of flowerheads, in fitted case, apparently unmarked
