Specialist note

Accompanied by an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirming the date of manufacture as 1951 and its subsequent sale on July 4th of the following year.

According to our research the present watch has never before appeared at auction and is only one of 20 examples in yellow gold known to the market.

The reference 2434 was produced from 1948 until at least 1956. The first were made with the caliber 9-90, with the second series being manufactured with the caliber 10-200.
