Pier Francesco Mola Coldrerio c. 1612-1666 Rome

We are grateful to both Dr. Erich Schleier (written communication, 18 July 2007) and Dr. Francesco Petrucci (written communication, 2 August 2007) for independently confirming the attribution to Mola based on transparencies. Dr. Petrucci tentatively places the date of the painting to the early 1650s, shortly after the final return of the artist to Rome.
