FIRST EDITION. THE COMPLETE NARRATIVE OF THE EXPEDITION. The Challenger was the first steam-powered ship to cross the Antarctic Circle. The photographs in these volumes included the earliest known photographs of Antarctic icebergs and peri-Antarctic islands.
