Of breakfront demi-lune outline, the brèche violette marble top above egg-and-dart moulding, above a frieze inset with Bacchic mounts, the central panelled door inlaid with a marquetry of cranes and foliage on a parquetry ground, signed to the lower right-hand side E. Martin 1890, within an ormolu border with a foliate roundel to each side, the interior fitted with a shelf, flanked to each side by a fluted upright and a curved glazed side door, the interior with a mirrored back and a pair of glass shelves, on a plinth base hung with lambrequin, on bun feet
