Lot 55 one capsule corroded. Levels mid/upper-shoulder. Lot 56 one with slightly damaged capsule and slightly damaged and detached label. One capsule corroded and with signs of seepage. Bin-soiled label. Both with Scandanavian strip labels. Levels: one mid and one low-shoulder
Tasting Note: Most recently: glorious, deep, velvety appearance, still with youthful plummy colour; at first sniff, almost a 'clone' of the '45, spicy, whiff of tobacco. Fairly sweet, very spicy, crisp, great length, dry finish. Delicious. Dramatic but not overdone. Last tasted Nov 2005 ***** Time in hand. M.B.
