With foliate carved channelled frame and padded out-swept arms above a sertpentine seat on cabriole legs, the underside of seat-rail with the remains of a nineteenth century printed paper label '…IANGIS …ARIS', and a late twentieth century printed label 'PROPRIETE DE' inscribed in ink 'HHI (00029)', the seat-rail also inscribed '62039' and '71111', both back legs previously broken and with old repairs, one back leg spliced with a replaced section of leg, one back foot previously broken and now with old repair
