An unusual Louis XV style ormolu, cut brass and mother-of-pearl-mounted four-sided regulateur

Of bombé form, decorated overall with mother-of-pearl parquetry, the upper section with dials for a clock, barometer, thermometer and hydrometer, each with enamel plaquettes, the clock signed P. PARMA/CONSTANTINOPLE, the lower section applied to each side with a rocaille cartouche and centred to the clock side with a sultan's monogram and initials T.C., the angles applied with scrolling acanthus clasps, on scrolled acanthus feet, the top of the lower section with four indistinct ink stamps, probably customs stamps
