Designed as a series of pearl and old-cut diamond arches to the fan- shaped spacers and two-row pearl and engraved gold band (pearls untested), circa 1830, lengthened to wear as a bandeau with gilt metal and imitation pearl back section, 21.5 cm. wide

Specialist note

The tiara was converted to a bandeau in 1924 for Princess Maria José to wear at her first Court ball.
