Muromachi Period (15th-16th century)
Of turned and assembled wood, with cylidrical neck ending in a rolled lip, and with rounded, wide shoulders above a sharply tapered body extending to the raised, splayed foot, the red lacquer worn in places revealing the underlayer of black lacquer
