Slightly tapering back with broad central splat flanked by three intersecting cross bars, above rectangular rushed seat, on waisted square section legs

Chairs to this design were exhibited as part of a dining room scheme at the Moderne Wohnungskunst exhibition, Warenhaus Wertheim in Berlin, 1902 (reproduced left).
