The glass bodies with scroll handle, the plain silver mounts with spatulate thumbpiece, the hinged covers engraved with initial 'S' below an earl's coronet, five with a cartouche shaped label engraved 'Whiskey'
The initial is that of Albert Edward John, 7th Earl Spencer (1892-1975).
Together with an Edward VII silver-mounted glass whistkey-tot and a George V example, one by Hukin and Heath, Birminham, 1911, the other by Heath and Middleton, Birmingham, 1908, 4¼ in. (10.8 cm.) high (8)
