JAR brooches

JAR brooches are celebrated for their imaginative interpretations of nature, from lifelike flowers to insects rendered in extraordinary detail. Jewellery designer Joel Arthur Rosenthal approaches each subject with an artist’s eye, using precisely arranged gemstones to evoke the delicate structures of petals, leaves and wings. His mastery of colour gradation and unconventional materials gives these designs a remarkable sense of vitality, while intricate settings allow the stones to follow the contours of each form. Produced in exceptionally limited numbers, JAR brooches exemplify his singular vision of jewellery as miniature sculpture, where technical ingenuity meets artistic expression.
