Painted with still life studies of shells, possibly by John Barker, with gilt Greek key-pattern rims, Comprising: a slop bowl, two saucers dishes, nine teacups, six coffee cups and eleven saucers
The saucer dishes 7 ¾ in. (19.7 cm.) diam.

Purchased from the factory in 1813 by Sir William Cosway, secretary to Admiral Collingwood, and thence by descent to the present owner

Sir William Cosway (1783-1834) lived at Bilsington Priory in Kent and was secretary to Admiral Lord Collingwood during the Battle of Trafalgar.
