Tasting note: English bottlings, including an excellent, well-cellared. Findlater Mackie magnum with characteristic Lynch-Bages cassis, soft, rounded, harmonious in 2001. Most recently (château-bottled): losing its depth of colour though still fairly intense; good nose; dry, taut, crisp, excellent flavour, great length. Last tasted April 2003 ***** At peak. MB
