Charles Kemeys Kemeys Tynte was an English Whig and Liberal politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1820 to 1837 as MP for Bridgewater. He was the son of Colonel Johnstone who assumed the name of Kemeys Tynte, and his wife Jane Hassell. He lived at Halsewell House, Somerset and Kevanmably, Glamorganshire with his wife Anne Leyson, daughter of Rev. T. Leyson. Their son, Charles John Kemeys Tynte was MP for Somerset West and Bridgewater.
