Baffonero is a 100 Merlot produced in the Maremma district, in a joint venture between Castellare di Castellina winery and Domaines Baron de Rothschile-Lafite. Created in an brilliant winery designed by Renzo Piano, and named for the captain of the wild boar hunt in Tuscany, this wine is presented here from the Tre Bicchieri-winning 2007 inaugural vintage.
