Blaeu's map of the coast of eastern England, from Dover to Great Yarmouth, showing the mouth of the Thames, coloured by a contemporary hand. The River Thames is shown in an inset, from London to the Isle of Sheppey. The map appeared in Blaeu's oblong-format pilot guide Het Licht der Zee-vaert, first published in 1608. Koeman IV, M.Bl 1 chart 41.

Engraved map, coloured by a contemporary hand, verso blank, orientated with west at top, inset map of the Thames, 3 compass roses, 3 explanatory cartouches and one scale cartouche all within elaborate borders, numbered '41' in bottom right-hand corner, 250 x 546mm (plate mark), 263 x 560mm (sheet).
