Bearing the logo Fender / TELECASTER at the headstock and SERIAL NUMBER MZ5 208073 / MADE IN MEXICO on the reverse, East Indian Rosewood fingerboard, the Candy Apple Red finish inscribed in felt tip marker with the signatures of Nile Rodgers, Sly Stone, Joe Perry, and other artists, with soft case
Length of body 15 5⁄8 inches (40.4 cm)

This material includes, among other things, ivory, tortoiseshell, crocodile skin, rhinoceros horn, whalebone certain species of coral, and Brazilian rosewood. You should check the relevant customs laws and regulations before bidding on any lot containing wildlife material if you plan to import the lot into another country. Several countries refuse to allow you to import property containing these materials, and some other countries require a licence from the relevant regulatory agencies in the countries of exportation as well as importation. Specialist note

One of Rodgers' crowning achievements was when he worked as a music director for the 48th Annual Grammy Awards in 2006. At this event he managed to reunite the original members of Sly and the Family Stone for a tribute to their enduring presence and contribution. Sly Stone appeared on stage with a host of stars for this tribute, including members from the band Aerosmith, who signed this guitar, along with Stone prior to that performance. Said Rodgers of his achievement: "I had it hanging up in my library. You know, I was so proud...that I got all three guys to sign it."
