Consigned by a lady and offered fresh to market, this stunningly beautiful entirely diamond and sapphire-set haute joaillerie bracelet watch is, to the best of our knowledge, the first example of the reference 4044/1 to be offered at international auction. Boasting 394 diamonds weighing 5.96 carats total and 84 sapphires totalling 5.64 carats, it would be a superbly attractive addition to any collection.
According to the Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives, the present watch is set with the following number and weight of diamonds and sapphires:
36 baton-cut diamonds – 2.84 carats
84 baton-cut sapphires – 5.64 carats
358 diamonds – 3.12 carats
