Note du spécialiste

‘An extraordinary and uncommon technical mastery allows Ventura to give his pictorial representation a photographic quality and his sculptures a realistic feel, despite their clear, surreal structure… Contextually, the architecture of the painting, the tactile nature of the forms and their symbolic implications position the work in the realm of postmodernism. The work thus introduces us to a linguistic universe that incorporates expressive and narrative modalities that metaphorically produce an image of the present by showing an ancient, mythological world.’
Demetrio Paparoni
