Lot 1528 PROPERTY FORMERLY IN THE COLLECTION OF MONK FA YIN (LOTS 1524-1528)
This collection of quaint Xu Beihong works come from the former collection of Monk Fa Yin. Fa Yin, originally Han Qiguang, is the nephew of renowned ceramics specialist and historian, Han Huaizhun (Ha Wai Toon, 1892-1970). In his youth, Fa Yin followed his uncle to Singapore and studied Chinese paintings. Due to his uncle’s close friendship with artists such as Xu Beihong, Fa Yin’s collection included works from Xu Beihong, Liu Haisu, Zhao Shao’ang, and Yu Youren.
