Specialist note

With Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated 13 October 2004, additional case back, setting pin, instruction manual, leather wallet, fitted presentation box and outer packaging. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with black dial, 9 white gold Breguet numerals and dot minute tract in 2004 and its subsequent sale on 7 July 2004.

Fresh to the market, the present reference 5041, in overall very good condition, is the rarest of all perpetual calendar watches of Patek Philippe's standard production. In production from 1995 to 2003, it is with the exception of the enlarged flat bezel, identical to reference 5040. Reference 5041 was exclusively made in white gold, with black dial and Breguet numerals. Although the exact production numbers are not publicly known, reference 5041 is clearly one of the rarest models featuring a perpetual calendar of recent production.

To the best of our knowledge, less than 20 examples have been seen on the market thus far. Furthermore, the present watch is comes complete with Certificate of Origin and the second case back.
