Trimmed with a deep yoke of gradated rose coloured hoops, with low, shirred waistline, the skirts trimmed with matching rosy appliqué, overlapping circles

Specialist note

Illustrated here is a gouache from Lanvin's daybook for 1923 courtesy of Archives Lanvin. This model seems to have been popular with Lanvin's Biarritz clients and also appears to have been sold to Raquel Meller, Spanish singer, actress and international star of the 1920s and 1930s.
