AN UNUSUAL VICTORIAN GEM-SET ENAMEL SERPENT NECKLACE
The highly articulated tapered body showing black, white and light green enamel scale design with ruby eyes and pearl crown to the head, mounted in gold, the necklace can be worn in three different lengths (apertures 1/3 and 2/3rds down length of the body), circa 1840, 65.5 cm long
