Cross-banded and feather-banded throughout, with two short drawers over three long graduated drawers above a frieze drawer, the stand with six turned legs and curved stretchers

Acquired by the present owner's grandfather in 1905 from John Leng & Sons, Chichester for £14-0-0
The present owner's father commissioned the new walnut stand in 1983, copying the design of a chest-on-stand in the V & A Museum.
