"Wow! The 1983 Palmer is spectacular wine. A blend of 53 Cabernet Sauvignon and 40 Merlot with 5 Cabernet Franc and 2 Petit Verdot. On the nose there is a very floral, violet note to the rich, complex fruit character - explosively aromatic and very expressive, finishing with a hint of brown sugar.
